The Flass analyzer incorporates the three major techniques which have been developed to analyze the solid precipitation phenomena in lived oil sample. (1) The High Pressure Microscope (i.e. HPM) is designed to visualize accurately the Wax and Asphaltenes precipitation at onset conditions up to 15,000 psi and 200°C. The system enables to identify the solid particles and monitor the change in size and morphology of Wax crystals and Asphaltenes solids as function of temperature, pressure, time and effect of various chemical treatments. (2) The solid laser detection system is used to detect when the organic deposition takes place, in other words it measures the onset conditions of live oil precipitation. (3) The HP HT organic solid filtration is used to determine the amount of solids formed in the fluid sample when altering the pressure, temperature or composition of the fluid.
